Bifurcaria bifurcata is a genus of brown algae seaweeds found in and around the rocky shores and tidepools of the North Atlantic Ocean. These algae play an important role in the ecology of the littoral zone, creating microhabitats and serving as a source of food.
With a low x-height and elongated ascenders, this typeface conveys a feeling of growth and upward motion. The curling terminals of the letterforms mimic the natural structure of the blades, adding to its organic and complex aesthetic.
